Parent Aid has teamed up with the Southern Arizona Child Advocacy Center right here in Tucson for an intriguing book club session. We'll be diving into "What Happened to You? Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing" by Dr. Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey. Seriously, who wouldn't want to join a discussion with those two? Dr. Perry is pretty much a rockstar in child psychology, shedding light on how childhood trauma can stick with us like that one song you can't get out of your head. And Oprah? Well, she might just spill some tea about her own experiences, offering a perfect blend of insightful and relatable.
