Your guide to What's On in Phoenix for Halloween

Halloween may be the best time of year for both kids and adults. From adorable costumes, trick or treating, pumpkin patches, haunted houses and carving pumpkins, it is such a fun time to spend with your family.

This year in Phoenix, there are tons of Halloween events and activities happening. Here are some of the best that we have found. If you know of anymore, please let us know so we can add them to the guide!

1. Trick or Treat at the Museum

Dress up in your best costume, and trick or treat through the exhibits at The Children's Museum of Phoenix. There will be a dance floor where you can bust a move, monster mash style, as well as three floors of imaginative play.

There is a full guide of timed events for all ages happening all day, including messy play, costume parade and decorating candy apples. You can buy tickets online.

2. Howl-O-Ween at the Zoo

This spooky event for all ages will have your kids enjoying the zoo even more than usual. There will be events and activities happening for all age groups, including more scary ones for children aged eight years and up.

Merry activities for all ages include a carnival midway, character meet and greet, dance party and scary carousel. The scarier activities include videos from the paranormal society, zombie trail and a haunted museum. Tickets can be purchased online.

3. Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival

Head to the Salt River Fields to see over twenty hot air balloons on display and passing out over four thousand pounds of candy for trick or treaters. There will be live music, food, a kids zone, markets, tethered balloon rides, a haunted trail, fireworks and more.

4. Enchanted Pumpkin Garden

The Enchanted Pumpkin Garden is a festival for the whole family to enjoy celebrating all things pumpkin. With pumpkin carving, live music, pumpkin pie eating contests and lots more pumpkin fun for the family.

5. Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch

Be transported into the fun of Halloween with rides, games, face painting, movie night, arts and crafts and more at the Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch at Phoenix Premium Outlets. With free admission and parking, you can even pick your own pumpkin.

6. Underwater Superheroes at SEALife Aquarium

Kids can partake in the ultimate Superhero experience this Halloween at the SEA Life Aquarium. There will be superhero themed Halloween activities throughout the aquarium, with swim stations, underwater pumpkin carving, costume contests and make your own superhero mask stations.

7. Howl-o-ween Featuring The Big Dog Show

If your furry friend is a firm part of your family, then why not celebrate Halloween with them. Margaret T. Hance Park is hosting Howl-O-Ween with a dog costume parade and art installation featuring pooches on parade, food trucks, giant dog sculptures and lots of family fun in the park.

8. Fear Farm

If you have older, and very brave, children then Fear Farm is one of Phoenix's most terrifying Haunted House experiences. It is an immersive event, not for the feint of heart and will really get you into the scary Halloween spirit. If you dare.
