The Pinewood Classic is an event that happens the last weekend of April at Short Leash Hotdogs and Rollover Doughnuts. We all remember, when as a boy scout, we were required to build a pinewood derby car. But, inevitably our dads took over and had more fun that we did. This event brings derby car-building back (for adults). The competition is fierce and the craftsmanship is closely scrutinized, but the fun is infectious.

OK... so the kids get to have a little fun too. On the morning of the event, the venue will host a kids' only Jr Pinewood Classic. The event is complete with doughnut bar, balloon animals and a Bloody Mary bar for parents that will participate in the Adult Classic.
